PURCHASE AGREEMENT
Our puppies live and breathe just as you and I. Like all living things, they are prone to illness due to many different conditions such as nourishment, environment, disease and genetics that may or may not affect the quality of their lives. K and B Bostons does not warrant any condition that affects the quality of life that is beyond our control. Our puppies however, are guaranteed to be free of illness and ready to go to your home when they leave ours.
The Buyer Is Responsible For:
1. Buyer "must" visit their puppy during the first 8 weeks at least once prior to taking puppy home.
2. Have the puppy checked by a certified Veterinarian within 72 hours of possession.
(after 72 hours, the buyer is responsible for any type of illness that may occur such as pneumonia, respiratory infection, sugar problems, etc....)
3. Provide proper preventative care such as:
- routine health checks by a certified Veterinarian
- routine vaccinations and deworming
- for the first year, puppy must be given a diet high in fat such as Native Performance, Eukanuba puppy small bites, Blue, or Iams puppy. Failure to follow proper preventative care guidelines will void your guarantee.
The Breeder Is Responsible For:
1. If within the first 72 hours your certified Veterinarian discovers an un-treatable "health issue" which can positively be traced to before time of purchase, breeder will refund purchase price of puppy or replace puppy with one of equal value from the same litter providing there is one available. Sick puppy must be returned to breeder along with registration paper and a report from the veterinarian within 48 hours of notifying breeder.
2. If within the first year a certified veterinarian finds a genetic disorder serious enough to warrant a euthanization of the dog, the dogs report needs to be sent to the breeder immediately. In turn, the breeder will have the dog checked at our veterinarian. If this results in the same prognosis, a refund will be issued to the buyer after return of the dog's registration paper.
3. Certain disorders caused by environmental factors or care such as starvation, sugar problems, allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange and other disorders that may be caused by environmental factors or care are not covered by this guarantee.
4.The breeder guarantees a healthy pet however does not guarantee adult size, color, and temperament.
5. Breeder is not responsible for any veterinarian expenses at any time.
Miscellaneous Terms Of Contract:
1. If at any time, buyer can no longer provide a home to one of our dogs for any reason whatsoever, the buyer may find a suitable home for our dog. If buyer cannot find a suitable home, he/she must return said dog to K and B Bostons minus refund so we can find this animal a home. It deserves at least that. Under no circumstances shall one of our dogs be sent to any type of puppy mill, kennel, or dog pound for euthanization.
2. Shipping of our dogs- as of right now, we are opposed to shipping.
3. Deposits for puppies are non refundable (exception- in the event that buyer wants a specific gender and that gender is not available, buyer will be refunded.) The reason for this is simple. As a buyer, you are asking us to "hold" a puppy for you. This means that potential buyers will not have a chance to buy "your" puppy. As a result, there may be no puppies available and some buyers may miss out on their chance to get a puppy of their own. 1st deposit gets 1st pick on male or female. 2nd deposit gets second pick on male or female. So on and so forth. If said puppy is not picked up within 48 hours of said pick up date and prior arrangements have not been made, you lose your deposit. In addition, puppy goes back for sale, no exceptions. Thanks for your understanding.
4.Breeding rights may be sold separately upon approval to select buyers at a price of $250.
5. kbbostons reserves the right to have first choice of all our litters before offering them to those on our waiting lists.
By signing this contract, buyer agrees to the terms held within.
